She has leaded many drug discovery projects in the field of neurological pathologies, including Alzheimer’s disease. Her current research interests are especially focused on the fields of Regenerative Medicine and Photopharmacology, by the development of innovative neurogenic agents and photoswitchable neurodrugs, respectively. She is also interested in the in vitro evaluation of drug-like properties, such as the oral absorption and the penetration in the central nervous system (PAMPA experiments). She has supervised 8 PhD theses and more than 15 master works. She is the author of more than 80 scientific articles, 10 patents, and a technological offer of know-how type. |
