Eva-María Priego recieved her Ph D in Chemistry at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. After enjoying a postdoctoral position with Prof. Sir Tom L. Blundell in the Crystallography and Bioinformatics Unit at the Department of Biochemistry (University of Cambridge), she returned in 2007 to the Insituto de Química Médica with a CSIC contract from the I3P programme, and since 2009 as Tenured Scientist.

Her research interests are in the areas of computer-aided drug design, homology modeling, docking, molecular dynamic simulations of biomolecular systems and virtual screening.
