Curriculum

Asier Gómez San Juan obtained his PhD in Organic Chemistry by the Department of Organic Chemistry II, University of the Basque Country (November 2010). During his PhD studies he spent a short stay (3 months) at the University of Paul Cèzanne (Aix-Marseille III) of Marseille. Then, he completed two postdoctoral stay, one of them in the same research group, and the other one at the Institute of Chemical Synthesis and Homogeneous Catalysis (ISQCH) at the University of Zaragoza. In July 2014 he joined the group of nucleosides and analogues of the Institute of Medicinal Chemistry (CSIC). His current line of work is aimed to the development of new antiviral compounds.
