Curriculum

Ana San-Félix gained her doctor degree in Chemistry from Complutense University in 1986, then she moved to the Centro de Biología Molecular “Severo Ochoa” as a two years’s postdoctoral fellow. In 1988 and for one year she worked at the Research Department of a Pharmaceutical Company. Then she moved to the Instituto de Química Médica where gained a Tenured Scientist position (1993). Since 2006 is Scientific Researcher of this Institute. Her current research interests are: medicinal chemistry, antivirals, AIDS, molecular recognition, lectin mimetics, polyphenols, nucleosides, carbohydrates, molecular diversity, NMR spectroscopy and conformational analysis .
