[/one_fourth][three_fourth_last][box]CSIC and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven have discovered a series of compounds with a remarkable dual action. They are able to interact with tubulin, disrupting cell division and, to reduce quickly and significantly the tumour blood flow, choking the tumour to death. Besides cancer, these compounds can be useful for the treatment of restenosis, macular degeneration and Behçets disease.[/box]
